Services

Using our Mission as our guide, World on My Shoulders strives to provide an array of services that close the gap in care left by public assistance and shelters. We work alongside and outside the system to ensure the needs of our recipients are met.

We provide education on and the tools for the following:
Babywearing
Breastfeeding Support
Reusable Menstrual Supplies
Individually, Tailored Self-Care Kits

Peer-to-Peer Support Groups with information on:
Healthy Eating for Low Income Families
Recipes for natural DIY lotions, salves, and remedies
Job training/Capitalism Hacks
Gardening
Advancing to survivorship

On a case by case basis, we may provide:
Connections to specialized local aide
Doula Services
Domestic Violence Escape Safety Planning
Financial Assistance

Freestores pop-up in cities all over the USA. During Freestores our services are available for FREE to either:
A group of people being celebrated in tandem with a specific event (like Black Breastfeeding Week)
Or open to the public as long as they qualify for our services (being part of a low income family and/or survivor of violence.)

Concerts and Community Events are also in the works!
